Ochna Cotton Lurex Shirt ~ Blanca

Everybody's favourite shirt ~ now in white, and in very limited numbers!

Oh My Goodness! This shirt, This fabric! 
I nearly cried when I unboxed this shirt, and tried it on, it's so bloody beautiful.

The most gorgeous, fine Indian cotton gauze fabric, with metallic rainbow lurex threads running through it. I remember this type of fabric hanging in the hippy shops in the 70's. I used to have skirts made out of it that I adored. I finally found it again!

It features a beautiful yoke panel across the back and front shoulders, and the body of the shirt gathers from beneath the yoke. A small collar and modestly plunging neckline. Gorgeous 3/4 length ballooning sleeves (with just the right amount of balloon), and elasticised wrists. As was pointed out to me on the socials, I didn't include here any photos of the sleeve ends (my bad!). The black version of this shirt, however, does have good photos of the sleeve cuffs, and this one is the exact same style.

The fabric is a cotton (no blends) gauze which is somewhat sheer, we wore a black camisole underneath for this photo shoot (not included), but I have worn mine with just a bra underneath, and of course, there is always togs.

I am so excited about this shirt I have literally not taken mine off!
