Finally! I'm wearing the perfect jeans! The perfect 70's shape, high-waisted, long-legged denim, but unlike the 70's originals these have some STRETCH! 96% cotton, 4% lycra, which also means comfort, and wearability.
The perfect mid shade of denim with a beautiful tapering wide leg. Designed to be particularly long in the leg, they look incredibly slimming with a boot, or shoes with a bit of a platform, but of course can be hemmed a bit shorter, if preferred. And how incredible is that denim plait detail on the pockets and around the waist.
Styled off an epic pair of vintage jeans I have kept in the back of my wardrobe for about 25 years, but have never been able to wear. I can get them on (just), but can't walk or sit in them, because the denim doesn't have any amount of stretch. These jeans are basically the reason I started this clothes business!
These jeans fit true to size, I am generally a 10 in jeans, (but a bit on the 12 side of 10) and Im wearing a size S in these. My girlfriend is a 10, but a bit more on the 8 side of 10, and she wears the XS. I guess because they have stretch, if you're a bit in-between I would size down. Denim does have a little 'give' also, as it wears in.
